Roger Martin’s love of climbing, pruning and preserving trees helped him make the decision to start Tree Play. Why not share his love of tree climbing with as many people as he could. Roger has been an Arborist for 15 years. He obtained certification through the I.S.A (International Society of Arboriculture) in 1997 which he has kept current through continuing education over the years. He has worked as a production-based foreman/team leader during his career. He is currently an arborist in Louisville, KY at a national arboretum. He is the former chairman of the KYTCC (Kentucky Tree Climbing Championship) and a board member for the Kentucky Arborists Association. He is also a proctor for the ISA Certified Tree Worker program which takes young and veteran climbers and encourages safety along with non-invasive tree climbing techniques. Roger stays up-to-date with all safety regulations and has never had anyone injured while climbing under his guidance.
